payment and pricing

toggle question what's the easiest way to get information about membership prices?

The easiest way is to use our Club Finder to find the club you're interested in. You'll find monthly payment memberships, as well as Limited Term Introductory Memberships. You can also visit your local club and speak with a Sales Counselor.

You can have your monthly dues be electronically deducted (EFT) from either your checking or credit card account. Some memberships also allow you to prepay your membership at the time of enrollment. See our membership options for more details.

If you purchase your membership online, the automatic payment is arranged using your credit card. You can also visit your club and fill out an EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) form, or call 800-432-6348 and request a form to be mailed or faxed to you.

membership card information

toggle questioni've lost my membership card. how do I get it replaced?

You can order a replacement membership card on-line through Member Services or at any 24 Hour Fitness club. There is a fee for any card that is lost or stolen. A copy of the "Membership Card Request Form" will be issued to you as a "temporary card" while the new one is being printed and mailed. Please note that it will generally take 3 to 6 weeks before you receive your new card.

You can change your address, date of birth and other personal information right here using our On-line Member Services or by filling out a change form in a club near you. You will be required to provide proof such as a driver's license, marriage certificate, divorce decree, or birth certificate.

toggle questionwhat is the difference with these types of 24 Hour Fitness clubs? i have an all-club membership but cannot access sport, super-sport or ultra-sport clubs.

24 Hour Fitness has four types of clubs: Active, Sport, Super-Sport and Ultra-Sport. Sport, Super-Sport and Ultra-Sport facilities are considerably larger and have amenities not generally available in our Fitness clubs, such as pools, basketball, volleyball, steam rooms, spas, and dry saunas, etc. Membership costs for these clubs are slightly higher because of the additional amenities.

toggle questioncan I bring a friend to the club as a guest?

24 Hour Fitness encourages you to bring friends, relatives and business associates for a visit. We strongly recommend that you make an appointment for your guests visit, as a tour or orientation may be required. A guest must check in at the front desk, be at least 18 (16 or 17 year-old minor of a parent or legal guardian who is a member is okay if the parent or legal guardian also signs release forms), sign a medical and injury release form and pay a guest fee before using the Facilities. 24 Hour Fitness may restrict the number of guests and times you may bring guests. You must inform guests about these Policies because 24 Hour Fitness will ask them to leave the Facilities for any policy violations.

Subject to the terms of the promotion, you can also have your guest download a free pass.

membership upgrades and transfers

toggle questioni will be unable to use my membership for a month. how can i put my membership on "hold?"

As a courtesy, 24 Hour Fitness will put a "freeze" on your membership if one of the following conditions apply:

Medical: Member must provide Member Relations or the Club Manager verification from their physician that their disability prevents them from using the facilities. 24 Hour Fitness has a medical form, which is authorized for distribution to members to assist with the documentation of medical disabilities. Medical Freezes are restricted to a term of between 3 and 6 months. The membership and dues billing will automatically reactivate when the freeze expires.

Military Assignment: Member must send a copy of their transfer or deployment orders to Member Relations. There is no minimum or maximum term for a military freeze. If a member is requesting specific term less than six months, the membership and Dues will automatically reactivate at the end of the specified time. If the member is requesting more than 6 months, or has not specified a definite freeze term, the member will need to contact Member Relations to reactivate.

Missionary Assignment: Same terms as for Military except Member needs to send a copy of their mission orders from the Church.

Temporary Employment out of the Area: Member must send to Member Relations, verification from their employer, on company letterhead, that they are being temporarily transferred to a location more than 25 miles from the nearest 24 Hour Fitness location. Employment Transfer Freezes are restricted to a term of between 3 and 6 months. The membership and dues billing will automatically reactivate when the freeze expires.

A membership may only be frozen for a maximum of six months during any twelve month period, excepting Military and Missionary Assignment Freezes. Your membership will only be frozen if it is in good standing with all Initiation Fees paid and the monthly Dues are current. Memberships without Dues, such as short-term Introductory Memberships purchased online, cannot be frozen. Please allow thirty days for us to process your freeze request and stop your Dues. If for any reason your freeze request is denied, we will notify you.

toggle questionif i want to change my couple membership to a single membership, will i see a reduction in my monthly dues?

Your dues will convert to the current cost of a single membership. You can obtain more information by visiting any one of our 24 Hour Fitness locations.

toggle questioni purchased a family membership a few years ago. at the time my youngest child was too young to participate. he is 12 now, how do i add him on to our family agreement?

You can inquire about the cost of family add-on agreements at your local 24 Hour Fitness. Each additional family member must sign a separate membership agreement. The average cost per month for a family add-on may vary from club to club, and are subject to increase. Some restrictions may apply.

The cost for an upgrade varies from club to club, and any one of our sales counselors at 24 Hour Fitness would be happy to explain the prices and give you a tour. You can find a club near you by using our Club Finder.

toggle questioni purchased a prepaid membership, which is still active and i am moving out of state. What can i do with my agreement?

If you are moving to an area where 24 Hour Fitness is proud to have clubs, your membership will be transferred to a comparable facility, depending on your club level access.

If there are no clubs in your area that we can transfer your membership to, you may be entitled to a pro-rated refund of your membership and a cancellation fee may apply. We require proof of your relocation such as driver's license or utility bill, together with your written request for cancellation and mail to: Member Relations, PO Box 2689, Carlsbad, CA 92008. Please be sure to include your new address. For further details regarding your cancellation rights, please refer to the back of your membership agreement.

 

travel privileges and affiliated clubs

toggle questionwhat are the locations of 24 Hour Fitness clubs outside of the united states? do you have a reciprocal international travel program?

If you are a member of an Active, Sport, Super-Sport, Ultra-Sport or any of our international locations and have an All-Club type of membership, you are able to visit any of our locations outside your home country (internationally) at no charge for 30 days. Simply show your membership card at the front desk, along with your photo ID and your workout towel.

Any stay for a period of more than 30 days is considered a permanent relocation and must begin paying the monthly dues rate for an All-Club Membership at the new club. Since the monthly dues rates for an All-Club Membership vary in our clubs throughout the United States and internationally, you may find your dues will go up or come down when you permanently relocate.

Yes. All you need to do is supply us with proof of employment (check stub, corporate ID, etc.) Your membership dues will be adjusted to reflect the company sponsored discount program provided all qualifications are met.

The hours you can visit are Monday through Friday from 2:30-4:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 1:00-5:00 PM. The Varsity Program is available from September 15th to May 31st.
