Mind/Body exercise focuses on improving your flexibility, strength and balance while enhancing your posture, coordination and mental focus. Yoga and Pilates classes are a great way to quiet the chatter of daily life,relieve stress and feel great  Participation in a mind/body class will typically result in a 250 – 400 calorie* burn.

The practice of Yoga, dating back 5,000 years, can help improve your health with stretching to tone your muscles and exercise your entire skeletal system. Some yoga classes are more challenging than others. Try a few classes to find your preferred method.

Yoga Pump™:

Optional hand weights are incorporated into yoga poses to help sculpt and tone the body while adding additional challenge to the postures. The full-body workout includes a unique 24 Hour signature challenge pose and ends with Savasana.

Yoga Stretch:

An innovative approach to the popular fitness-focused mind/body workout, Yoga Stretch consists of traditional yoga poses executed with a Vinyasa flow.  Participants will experience improved strength, flexibility,balance and posture. Yoga Stretch is friendly and suitable to members of all fitness and experience levels

Yoga:

Designed to enhance vitality and a sense of well being, this workout will help participants gain improved flexibility, balance, strength and posture. The class will borrow from each instructor’s experience with Yoga and may incorporate basic poses from various Yoga styles.

pilates classes

Pilates, originally created to rehabilitate dancers’ injuries, is a perfect complement to your Yoga practice. Pilates develops core strength and body alignment. Consider alternating Yoga and Pilates classes in your routine for maximum results. Members of all fitness and experience levels are welcome.

Pilates Pulse™:A contemporary twist to traditional Pilates exercises, Pilates Pulse™ incorporates a series of challenging rhythmic moves with stretch exercises. Pilates Pulse participants will gain improved core strength, flexibility and balance.

Pilates:A workout designed to develop core strength and coordination, the focus of this class will be on traditional Pilates movement patterns, the use of breath and correct alignment. Participants will enjoy improvement in posture and overall toning
