Your self-image is like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Another way to look at your self-image is to compare it to a thermostat.

Many Americans - including myself - make New Years resolutions to commit to getting fit. While there are many great things about making a resolution, sticking with it is usually the tough part. I think it's always good to a revist your resolutions a couple months into the year to find out: have you started, are you sticking with it, are you seeing progress?

I wish I felt like exercising every day. I really do but the reality is we're all human and every day is different. Some days I have more energy or more enthusiasm, while other days I feel tired, frustrated, and lethargic. The only thing that is consistent is how I feel after I workout: AWESOME!
