I'm still going to the boot camps offered at our Santee Sport location. I wanted to share some of the exercises we did last night because they really kicked my butt and hit multiple muscles at the same time (your core is going to burn!).

Boot Camp 101

Boot camps are a lot of fun and a great way to meet people at your gym. You'll get a full body workout and tons of cardio. In a nutshell, a Boot camp is circuit training workout that includes cardio, strength exercises and flexibility. The format will vary from club to club but you can get a general idea of what to expect from this blog post.

When I'm not working with my personal trainer, I usually fall back into a rut and doing the same old exercises that I always do. Today I mixed it up! I remembered to add in some exercises that my trainer usually gives me when we're working out together. Today, I tackled the TRX all by myself!

Boot Camp - Santee, CA

Although I've exercised and worked out most of my life, this was my first boot camp EVER and I was pretty intimidated. For starters, Santee Sport isn't my regular club (it's about 15 min from home) but a friend bullied... er convinced me to try it out. I wasn't sure what to expect, how I'd do, would I be the slowest or last in the group, etc.
