24 Hour Fitness Completes Renovations, Re-Opens Palmdale West Active Club
Local Community Invited to Enjoy Workouts in Refreshed Club on Saturday, Nov. 12
SAN RAMON, CALIF. Nov 14, 2011 - 24 Hour Fitness, the nation’s largest privately owned U.S. fitness club chain and a health club industry pioneer, is pleased to announce yet another re-opening of one of its clubs after a series of renovations and updates. The 24 Hour Fitness® Palmdale West Active club, located at 1335 W. Avenue P in Palmdale, Calif., began renovations at the end of October and re-opens to members and guests on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 6 a.m. Members will now enjoy a variety of enhancements including:
- New functional training area with added personal training equipment
- Select new cardio equipment
- Updated locker rooms
- Refinished Group X® room
- Refreshed Kids’ Club with a new play maze
- Fresh paint and new graphics throughout club

Palmdale has been home to the 20,000 square foot club since 1997. The club is managed by Bobby Parks, a nine-year veteran of 24 Hour Fitness, and is staffed by more than 70 team members. In addition to the recent upgrades, the location will still offer popular amenities including:
- State-of-the-art fitness cardio, strength and functional training equipment, including free weights
- Personal training services
- Full schedule of Group X classes
- Kids’ Club babysitting service, where children ages six months up to 12 years can enjoy activities while their parents work out
