“I began my career at the original 24 Hour Fitness Balboa Sport club in 1980, and am excited and proud to help open the doors of our new and improved Balboa Super-Sport location 32 years later,” said Danny De La Rosa, division president, 24 Hour Fitness. “Over the last three decades, our team members have helped improve countless lives through fitness, and this new location will help us to continue that legacy for many more years to come.”

As part of outfitting the new, state-of-the-art facility, 24 Hour Fitness also purchased approximately 15 limited-edition Upright Lifecycle® Exercise Bikes by Life Fitness. Proceeds from the purchase were donated to Augie’s Quest, the Muscular Dystrophy Associations' ALS research initiative led by Augie Nieto.
