Don't Miss the Winter Games in Vancouver 2010
The Opening Ceremonies for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games is just around the corner. 24 Hour Fitness is working on plans to support Team USA’s efforts to bring home the gold.
Partners in Training
As part of its partnership with the USOC, which launched in 2003, 24 Hour Fitness offers eligible U.S. Olympic athletes and hopefuls free and reduced rate memberships to utilize 24 Hour Fitness clubs as they train in their hometowns. 24 Hour Fitness also employs Olympic hopefuls and provides them flexibility to work and train simultaneously to achieve their Olympic dreams. In previous games, 24 Hour Fitness has been one of the largest supporters of National Governing Bodies and will announce it’s proud support of select organizations in the coming months.
As the Official Fitness Center Sponsor of the United States Olympic Team, 24 Hour Fitness has provided state-of-the-art equipment and expertise to U.S. Olympic Training Centers in Colorado Springs , Colo. , Chula Vista , Calif. and Lake Placid , N.Y. During the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, 24 Hour Fitness helped to develop and staff the USOC’s High Performance Training Center at Beijing Normal University, providing the U.S. team and staff with training facilities and on-site support.
Partnership Continues
The 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver represents the fourth Olympic Games that 24 Hour Fitness has supported America’s Olympic Team, having previously partnered with the United States Olympic Committee for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games and the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. 24 Hour Fitness has renewed its partnership with the USOC through the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games will take place Feb. 12-28, 2010.
