Personal Training Assurance

Train with confidence. If you lose your job, we’ll refund the balance of your unused Personal Training sessions.

Program Details

  • The member seeking to cancel balance of Personal Training sessions and request a refund under the Assurance Program must: 
    • Involuntarily lose his/her job on or after March 1, 2009
    • Be aged 18 or older as of March 1, 2009
    •  Be a member on the Personal Training agreement for which a refund is sought; and
    •  Have personally paid for the Personal Training agreement for which a refund is sought.
  • Limited to the (2) two most recent Personal Training agreements purchased on or after March 1, 2009
  • Applies to 25 minute, 50 minute and Partner Personal Training sessions.
  • Request for a refund must be received within 6 months of date of purchase of the sessions requested for refund. Refunds are calculated based on total number of unused sessions divided by the total number of sessions on the qualifying Fitness Service Agreement (including all free and/or promotional/complimentary sessions).
  • Balance of Personal Training sessions may also be transferred to another current member

How it Works

  • Obtain a copy of one of the following: (1) termination document from former employer, or (2) unemployment eligibility confirmation 
  • Bring above document(s) to the club where the Personal Training sessions where purchased 
  • Please allow 45 days for processing of refund • Refund will be processed once unemployment documentation is received and validated 
  • If request for refund is not approved, you will be notified by 24 Hour Fitness.

Refund request can only be made and processed in-club. Membership must be current to receive refund. Member seeking to cancel remaining Personal Training sessions and request a refund must (1) involuntarily lose his/her job on or after March 1, 2009, (2) be aged 18 or older as of March 1, 2009, (3) be a member on the Personal Training agreement for which a refund is sought; and (4) have personally paid for the Personal Training agreement for which a refund is sought. Refunds will be processed via member’s original form of payment. Copy of one of the following: (1) termination document from former employer, or (2) unemployment eligibility confirmation. Transfers of unused Personal Training sessions must be initiated by the transferring client. Transfers can only be made to members in good standing. Transfers can only be made on sessions that have already been paid for and not used. See club manager for additional details. Offers are subject to change or end at any time.
