what is 24 hour fitness personal training?

24 Hour Fitness personal training (PT) is designed to help you achieve your goals faster. Your personal trainer will walk you through cardio, flexibility, abdominal, and upper and lower body resistance workouts. The program is based on the 5 components of fitness:  cardio, resistance training, food intake, vitamins and supplements and professional assistance. It's a program that doesn't just make you look better – it makes you feel better.

the 5 components

cardio

Cardio is defined as any exercise that raises your heart rate for an extended period of time. Whether a stair climber, a stationary bike, a treadmill or whatever other piece of equipment you choose, we can help you get maximum results with minimum effort. Proper and consistent cardio work takes less time than you think, helping you develop endurance, boosting your mood, heart function and immune system. Cardio exercise may also lower body fat and decrease the risk of developing depression and other chronic diseases.

resistance training

Done the right way, resistance training develops more definition in your muscles. And the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn. You can even burn calories while sleeping. Resistance training can be performed using free weights, body weight, machines, tubing and stability balls. Benefits include improved productivity, power and bone density, as well as a reduction in stress, hypertension and osteoporosis.

food intake

A healthy diet is about eating smarter, not less. You can actually eat your favorite foods and still get fit. The key is to understand what your body needs and dispel common myths about food. For example, you need fat for healthy skin and brain function. And you must have carbs to fuel your body for everything you do. Especially exercise.

vitamins and supplements

Without the right vitamins and supplements, you won’t reach fitness goals as fast as you can. Vitamins and supplements may boost metabolism if you’re trying to lose weight. Trying to gain muscle? Vitamins and supplements may lower your chances of losing body mass. They may also lower fatigue if your goal is to build endurance.

professional assistance

Your trainer will work with you to develop the right mix of the 5 components, guiding you on a path to reach your goal quickly yet safely. Your personal trainer keeps you motivated and committed, lowering your chance of injury and steering you away from boredom. In short, your trainer removes the guesswork so you can focus on getting fit.

how does 24 hour fitness personal training work?

Your trainer will begin by identifying your goals and creating a personalized fitness plan. During each session, you’ll learn the best exercises for your needs. Your trainer will also guide you on the proper amount of weight and number of reps, how long to rest between sets, and how to avoid injury. With this expert knowledge, you'll get the best results from every workout and make steady progress towards your goals!

With your first purchase of PT, you’ll also receive the 24 Hour Fitness Training Guidebook. This 44-page booklet is full of fitness tips and contains dozens of exercises. It also covers topics such as how to prevent injury, how to understand food labels, how to eat smarter, what to avoid when eating out, and the difference between fat loss and weight loss. It's a valuable guide during your training program and beyond.

what to expect for your initial PT sessions:

Session 2: Program Review and Workout

Your trainer will review your individualized program at the beginning of the second session. You’ll also be enrolled in a 90-day subscription to our online nutrition program. Next, you’ll hit the floor for another intense workout specifically tailored to your goals.
