Bio
My journey with fitness began when I was twelve with my father's weight set in the garage. I worked out on and off all the throughout high school, however, I noticed the switch was set to off far more often that it was set to on.
One day, near the end of my senior year, I took a good look at myself and was disturbed to see a pouch of fat hanging from my stomach. Looking closer, I noticed my face was covered with oils and acne. How was this possible? I exercised often, and ate well...or at least I thought I did.
This day was a real turning point for me. I began to think there must be more to a healthy and fit person than I was gaining from my workouts and diet. I immediately submerged myself into literature, and was shocked to realize how poorly my eating habits and training really were. This turned into a burning desire for me to understand as much as possible about the mechanisms and functions of our bodies, specifically in regards to staying healthy and fit.
After four years of countless hours of study and private research, as well as three training certifications later, I can safely say that my desire for knowledge has evolved into a passion. I saw an amazing transformation in myself-putting on roughly 40 pounds of muscle and the successful rehabilitation of numerous sports injuries. The knowledge that I have accumulated, along with over two years of industry experience has left me more than confident that I have all the necessary tools to transform the lives of others.
This has led me to one goal: To do everything in my realm of possibility to pass on knowledge and means of success through fitness to anyone looking to better themselves.
