Bio

After high school, with all forms of structured exercise and recreation, I tipped the scales at thirty pounds above my high school average. Believing I was still "fit", I took on working out at the Cal State Northridge Fitness Centre and joined the Matador Boxing Team. I didn't know much about weights, so I only used a few machines, worked out abs, and used the same 15 pound dumbbells for months. Without significant results, and in need of direction, I started reading fitness magazines for my routines. I then progressed to taking kinesiology classes in supplementation of my studies as a psychology major, and learned about the intricacies of the human body and the demands we can place on it.

Sheer discipline with a consistent nutrition and exercise routine brought me the first ten pounds of fat loss. My belly had gone down considerably and I was feeling healthier. Changing up my routine again granted the final ten pounds that so many people struggle with. Now I maintain an average body fat of 10%, and am at the peak of my young health. I recently started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to again change and vamp up my personal fitness and wellness.

Along the way, friends noticed how I changed and started asking me for fitness and health advice, which many received gladly. Thus the switch to becoming a personal trainer was natural. I look to take my personal experience and knowledge to train clients. I consider my job as speaking life into people and helping them reach and surpass their health and fitness goals.
