Personal Trainer Jerry F. Got This Pototo OFF the Couch

Couch Potato

As couch potatoes go, I was the best! But, I got tired of flattening my sofa cushions every time I sat down to watch TV. It got to the point where there were permanent welts in the sofa where I sat.

On an airplane, I would have to stretch the seat belt all the way out to the buckle to get it to fit around my belly. On long flights I would remove any items in my pockets to comfortably squeeze into the airline seats.

I wore extra large shirts that would wrap around my stomach with the buttons practically popping out! If I tucked my shirt in, my wife reminded me that I should never do that.

The worst part of it, was the back pains that I developed due to the lack of exercise. As an office worker I sit at a desk all day hunched over a computer keyboard. Eventually, that caught up with me and I developed bad back pains because my back muscles were too weak.

So, I decided to make a change. I started to work out regularly, and I changed my eating habits. I worked with a 24 Hour Fitness personal trainer, Jerry F. who’s a really cool guy for a chem. major! I’ve lost 34 pounds so far.

My current goal is to achieve a proper weight for my height and to be physically fit. I have about another 15 pounds to go. If I can do it, you can too! Because, no way are you a better couch potato than me!
