I have always had a strong passion for health and fitness and I grew up competing in football, power lifting and track. However, my strength and athletic abilities did not come easily. In order to compete and avoid injury I had to work very hard to develop strength and muscle as my body is naturally very tall and thin. This makes muscles development extremely challenging. While my athletic background and interests helped, my education in corrective exercise, athletic performance and nutrition is what allowed me to developed a specific plan to ensure success. I have since added 40 pounds of muscle to my frame, taking my body weight from 170 pounds to 210 pounds without gaining additional body fat. Experiencing this myself is what inspired me to help others achieve their fitness goals. I know how challenging any physical goal and be and, regardless of the goal, I know what it takes to achieve success and that the benefits far outweigh the work that must be done. Throughout my fitness career I have helped many others to obtain weight loss, muscle gain, athletic performance, and life style changing goals by sharing my knowledge with them and pushing them to do things that they never thought they could. While learning and understanding the human body is my inspiration, my true passion is in helping others and seeing them achieve success. This why I am a personal trainer.
