Amy Reese has had 26 jobs all over the world, and always seems to come back to the fitness industry. While attending WSU, Amy completed an internship with the Strength and Conditioning Program. During the program, she trained WSU's varsity athletes in team and one-on-one settings. After graduating, she took a position managing a private personal training studio in Mill Creek, WA. During her experience in management she joined a business marketing group and built her business by working with chiropractors, doctors, massage therapists and health stores. After a year of management, Amy wanted to broaden her experience in the fitness industry and moved to Australia on a one-year work visa. While living in Australia, she gained a greater perspective in fitness. She worked for three different fitness centers in both sales and personal training. Since returning from overseas, Amy continued personal training at 24 Hour Fitness in Olympia, WA. She transferred to 24 Hour Fitness Carlsbad in November 2010. Her idea of happiness is basic: being active. She loves to travel, snowboard, surf, play soccer, workout and practice yoga. She has gone bungee jumping in Washington, done a canyon swing in New Zealand, and has been hang gliding over the Swiss Alps. "Being active keeps a thoughtful and motivated mind. My main motivation for training is to feel good doing the things that make me happy. I help my clients so they can feel and perform better doing the things they love!"
