As a competitive runner since Jr. High I have always been interested in movement. I have trained for and completed many marathons and ultra marathons and have always been passionate about fitness. Though always a competitive endurance athlete, it was not until 2009 that I realized how truly weak I was. I could run 50 miles but could barely manage 10 sloppy push ups. I decided to start working on strength by lifting heavy weights and the rest is history.
