I became a personal trainer for one simple reason; help people achieve and learn how to maintain their results. My story began when I tore my hamstring playing soccer at 12 years of age. I was immediately surrounded by the healthcare industry attending physical therapy sessions 2-3 times a week. From there I became a rehab tech working hands on with patients taking them through their rehabilitation exercise programs. I did that for 8 years, both at an outpatient clinic and an inpatient hospital. My motivation to become a persoanl trainer derives from my experiences as a rehab tech. I wanted the ability to individualize exercises and know that I was the reason the individual was seeing results. I no longer wanted to follow a preset program, but instead wanted the opportunity to develop and progress an individualized exercise program the way I thought would yield the deisred results. Training is not a hobby to me. It is a path I have happily chosen to change lives.
