Bio

After having participated in the Oregon National Guard Youth Challenge Program and earning the award for most improved physical fitness in my junior year of high school, my interest in physical fitness was ignited. Following high school and one year at the University of Montana, I returned to Oregon in 2007.

My successful experience working with my own personal trainer over the course of 30 sessions led me to realize that the fitness industry was where I fit. After earning my APEX Fitness certification and being certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, I took time off from academics to work for 24 Hour Fitness in 2008. Roughly a year later I was back in school at the University of Oregon working towards a bachelor's degree in History and German.

Now, after finishing my degree and a year abroad in Tuebingen, Germany, I have returned to train at the club that got me started on my fitness path as the first gym I had ever set foot in. As a trainer I am able to help clients work towards a variety of goals, though my specific interests lie in traditional bodybuilding and body-composition training. My own goals for the future of my training are to branch out into kettlebell work and corrective exercises to reduce postural distortions and muscle imbalances. I look forward to working with you as a potential client.
