I have been heavily involved in sports since I was a kid; playing basketball, tennis, and volleyball through high school and college intramural leagues. I started coaching and instructing as a teen volunteering at elementary sports camps. I continued my career in fitness by becoming a runner and facilitating training teams for running and Tough Mudder events as well as "Biggest Loser" type programs at my company. I have run over 2 dozen events - including mud runs, charity runs, half and full marathons. I believe in strong cross training programs that include functional, speed, and agility workouts. I like to build hand in hand programs that cover both workouts plus nutrition. I became a trainer because saw a need in my community for support in getting healthy and I consider this my passion job.
