-You can either hurt and win or hurt and lose!- my dad would always tell me on our 6 mile morning run. My dad coached me in high school for Cross Country and Track. In my elementary years and through high school I grew up running at White Rock Lake and competing in Martial Arts tournaments. Naturally, I majored in Kinesiology at the University of Texas at Arlington and minored in English to teach at the secondary level. In AISD I taught reading and English and coached volleyball, cross country, basketball, and distance and jumpers in track. I wanted to do something new and decided to run a half marathon. During my training I got a 24 membership so I could run indoors on rainy days. After running 2 half marathons I decided to do a full one and did the Dallas White Rock Marathon in memory of my dad. After running a marathon and not having a full six pack, I decided to start building muscle and entered a figure competition. Since I am always in the gym, I became a trainer to help others achieve their goals. I will continue to train, lift, an! run because it is my verb.
