Throughout my life I have always enjoyed being active and playing team sports such as, soccer and Lacrosse. Once I got to college I started long distance running and weight training. In 2009, I tore my rotator cuff, in efforts to quickly rehab my shoulder I began swimming. Which is what ignited my interest in Triathlons and endurance sports. So I joined the University of Oregon Triathlon team and since then I have participated in numerous Triathlons and long distance runs. Resistance and functional training aided in my recovery, decreased my race times and improved my overall strength. This is what ultimately led me to being a personal trainer. I really love personal training because it combines my passion of helping others and fitness.
