Certified Personal Trainer
I became a Certified Personal Trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine after experiencing a very sedentary job and a resulting weight gain. Not to mention all the door prizes you get with weight gain. I am tall and have a big frame so the weight crept up on me to the tune of 279 pounds. I am not 20 anymore and have a young daughter for my age. She is so special to me. She inspired me to be healthy and to be around for her later in life. I continued to gain health even trying P90x twice. It was good but I overtrained doing that program even to injury. However I still loved being healthy and developed a deep passion for health in myself but also sharing with others the good news that their health can do a 180 like mine. It's true what they say. If you love what you do you will never work another day. The next logical step was getting certified. I found through the certification process how little I knew about the Science of Health. The why behind the what. Here was my opportunity to change lives. This is why I moved here and you are reading this now!
