Bio

My educational pedigree is founded on the concepts prescribed by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Portland State University. I enjoy analyzing the link between the body, mind and society. I have been working as a fitness professional since moving to Portland in 2009. I took a brief hiatus from training after graduating from Portland State University in 2013 to work as a field-archaeologist for notable CRM firms: Applied Archaeological Research and AINW. I enjoyed my time working in the field, but my passion remained fitness. After several months, I began training at 24 Hour Fitness. My life passions include martial arts, strength training, and outdoors adventure. I am an adrenaline junkie and an enthusiast for West-African culture. My second home is the coastal village of Anomabo, Ghana. I bring my passion for humanity, love of excitement, and intense passion to every training session.

  • Oregon Submission Wrestling Champ 2012, Muay-Thai Boxing & Kali - 5+ years
  • Awarded the McNair Research Grant and conducted an ethnography in Ghana
