Bio

Starting from a young age I was an athlete, I tried everything: track and field, cheerleading, swimming, basketball, dance, and diving. I loved anything and everything that kept me moving. My junior year of high school I decided to scale back on my athletics and focus more on my classes. Funny thing about that was even though my physical activity decreased my appetite didn't. I gained around 30 pounds, before I knew much about proper nutrition and exercise I decided it would be great idea to try out a low carb diet, twenty pound flew off, then I would go off my diet and ten would pile back on. I continued this yo yo diet, and continued losing weight and regaining it, until I decided enough was enough and I was going to educate myself. I joined 24 hour fitness and started working out, and learned everything I could about proper nutrition, and I lost the weight. At this time I was working for a bank and going to school for marketing, I figured I'd just move up in the bank and stay there but my dad has always told me, "Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life." I was working out hard at 5 am before work everyday thinking about what my dad always told me I saw somebody getting trained it was a total epiphany I finally knew what I actually wanted to do, use my passion and love of health and fitness to help others achieve their goals. With my new goal in mind I applied at 24 hour fitness and worked as a service rep until I got certified to be a personal trainer.
