Jason H. developed a passion for fitness during his undergraduate education at Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego, CA. As a kinesiology major, he sought methods to apply the complex concepts he learned in class to future potential personal training clientele. After graduating in 2004, emboldened by an additional passion, he began coaching track & field at the high school and collegiate levels. In 2006 he landed his first personal training position at the Toby Wells YMCA in San Diego, CA where he became one of two top trainers at the facility! Now involved in dual vocations, Jason has spent the past several years building his knowledge base to improve as a trainer and as a coach. He completed his USATF Level I Coaching certification in 2005, Level II in 2010. He recently completed a Masters degree in Coaching & Athletic Administration at Concordia University, Irvine and aspires to pursue a Doctorate degree in the near future. Jason has been a trainer with 24 Hour Fitness since February, 2011 and describes his time with the company as the most he has ever been challenged as a trainer. Jason enjoys working with the members and the highly encouraging staff, and looks forward to advancing in the company to a management position. Jason lives with his family of four in the Los Angeles area and is the Head Track & Field Coach at West Torrance High School.
