When I was young my parents always had me in something; swimming, tap, ballet, Tae Kwon Do, softball and basketball. My mom took me to her gym, which then became 24 Hour Nautilus, 3x a week, no matter what. I had dieted myself in High School and learned a lot through that process. In college I kept up my workouts. I took a nutrition course and learned of the Minor program and joined. I completed course work for both Group Exercise and Personal Training. My minor advisor was a Sport Aerobic champion which is what got me thinking about competitive fitness. I loved creating workout programs for my friends and when I moved home I started competing in Figure. I love seeing the light come on in my clients eyes when they feel what I am explaining to them. To be able to educate my clients on WHY we are doing something and how it works makes my job worthwhile. Many of my clients have become dear friends and I value the trust they put in me. I am constantly striving to learn more and give the best that I can. I am only human and make my own mistakes, but through that I show what can be done by competing and pushing myself with my own training.
