Hello! My name is Vincent Parks. I entered into the fitness world when I was 13 years old. Strength and conditioning became an early outlet for me, as well as, preparing me to be a better athlete on the football field. I played football all through high school, and afterward, a year of semi-pro. I began to have a great interest in using my love for fitness to help benefit other peoples lives. That is when I attended The American Academy of Personal Training in Boston, MA. While attending AAPT I learned great tools to help me great more efficient and safe programs for my clients. Kinesiology, nutrition, specific program design, anatomy, injury prevention and movement correction, were just a few of many assets I have learned and apply to my training programs. I started my professional training career at Equinox in Santa Monica, CA. Soon after started my private practice, as well as, working for BioMechanix in Los Angeles,CA. With all the hard work and dedication I put into Biomechanix, I became the Director of Training, and held that position for 2 years before leaving to start my private practice. Through the years I have adapted many new and effective aspects of health and fitness to my regiment. Along with my background in strength and conditioning, I became a Level 1 & 2 Roc Doc. As a registered Roc Doc, I specialize in working with people who have injuries, pre and post surgery and with specific muscle imbalances. The basic principle of my training is to make you feel great inside and out.
