I originally got into fitness through martial arts. I started Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2007. After doing martial arts for about a years or so, I decided to begin a workout routine to improve my strength and conditioning. And after getting about 4 years experience I became a kickboxing instructor (I did one-on-one private sessions, group classes, as well as strength and conditioning). This eventually lead to an interest in overall fitness, exercise, and nutrition. And at that point, I decided to work towards a bachelors in kinesiology.
