I love teaching people about health and fitness. Growing up I was always involved in some type of sport, ranging from swimming to basketball to golf. I decided to study Kinesiology in college because I loved learning about the human body and how adaptable it is. To this day it amazes me how a body can transform in a short period of time. Since graduating from USF in 2006, I have worked at various gyms around the Bay Area. In 2008 I decided to take a break from personal training to work in a physical therapy clinic. After returning to personal training in 2010, My approach to training clients had evolved to include rehabilitation exercises as well as functional training. In addition to physical therapy, I spent two years working as a strength and conditioning coach for Velocity Sports Performance and California State University, Maritime, where I specialized in working with athletes, helping to develop flexibility, speed, strength and power.
