Growing up, I enjoyed playing baseball and hiking with my family. Despite my interest in physical activity, I struggled with my weight, self-esteem and eating habits since the age of 12. Becoming and staying healthy was a battle for many years. In 2005, I was severely injured and gained a large amount of weight while I was recovering. I was teased by my peers regarding my weight, and I finally decided to make a change. In less than a year, I lost 65 pounds and 16 percent body fat. My father was always a great role model. He took me to the gym so we could work out together and he taught me how to eat healthy. His support was instrumental in my physical fitness. Once I lost the weight, my friends wanted to work out with me because of my results and my excitement about fitness. I love to help others reach their goals and have fun doing so. Whether your goals are to lose weight, get tone, or just to get and stay healthy, I will help and support you every step of the way.
