When I was in high school I weighed 180lbs. I have been involved in sports since I was 5, but I was still always overweight. Being at that weight was uncomfortable and embarassing. The summer after I graduated from high school, my family and I got into kickboxing and eating healthy. When I went away to college I would research weight loss and nutrition when I was bored and did not want to do homework. I started using the school gym and cooking my own meals. I lost 52 lbs. It was not an easy journey, but it was worth all of the hard work I put in. I became a Personal Trainer because I believe you excel in the fields you can relate the most to. I love sports and fitness, as well as, working with people and helping them reach their goals. I know from experience losing weight takes a lot of effort and you truly need support. Feeling good in my own skin and being healthy, motivated me to lose weight. I hope I can inspire and motivate other people to reach their goals as well.
