My story begins in the year 2000 when I was tired of being 125 lbs and wanted to gain muscle and weight. That summer I picked up a book that changed my life. The book is called Body for Life by Bill Phillips and he instructs people not to just change for now but to change over their lifetime and to make fitness a way of life. Fitness is not a fad for me. I do not train for instant results but I do this over the course of my life to be healthy and fit. I was so inspired to change my life that I got an undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University in Exercise Science. During my schooling and after, I was one of the strength and conditioning coaches at Western Michigan University from 2002 - 2004. I moved to California in 2004 to get a Masters degree. I graduated in 2007 from Fuller Theological Seminary. I have been working for 24 Hour Fitness since 2007 and I love watching people changing their lives for the better and helping them in reaching their goals! I am also a singer/songwriter and I have recorded 4 albums and have played in Hollywood consistently for the past 2 years.
