Being a trainer is more than just a way to make a living, it is something I am passionate about. I enjoy helping people change their lives through fitness and reaching the goals they work so hard to reach.
I believe it’s important to take care of our bodies in a balanced way. We must learn to create healthy, realistic eating and exercise habits. I teach my clients how to make their exercise routines efficient and effective. I enjoy seeing all of the people I work with decrease body fat, increase strength, tone, build muscle, make healthy food choices and feel empowered each day they get closer to their goals.
Different seasons in our lives call for different goals and exercise routines. In my life I want to model the road to optimal fitness for the people around me. Drawing from personal experience I know what it is like to struggle with getting back in shape after an injury or months without exercise.
That is where having a trainer is so beneficial. You have accountability, motivation and someone basically telling you exactly what you need to do to get where you want to be. Whether you are recovering from an injury, are training for a triathlon, toning up for a wedding, want to have more energy to play with your kids, or you need to lose weight because your doctor says so; I want to help!
I continue to pursue more accredited personal training certifications, increasing my fitness knowledge to benefit my clients’ needs. I am also certified to work with pregnant women. I enjoy cooking, camping, live music, surfing and golf is a recent favorite. At the moment I am training for the 2010 Los Angeles Marathon.
