My love for fitness started in high school. Initially, I was nervous and concerned because I felt confused and slightly intimidated. It took a little to warm up, but I fell very quickly in love with strength training. I loved it so much I decided to make a career out of it and went to pursue my degree in Kinesiology to be a trainer. Despite my major, I managed to put on 40lbs in college. I started to mix in some running and cycling and flexibility work and healthy eating habits and was able to lose the weight and find a far more inclusive love for fitness. I just want to spread the same love, help people reach their goals, and show that the gym is not such an intimidating place after all!
