My passion to be a trainer started at a early age. I used to be over weight the majority of my life. When I was a junior in high school, I was ranked number 1 in the state of Oklahoma in power lifting. I was 240 pounds. At the state finals I was wanting to set the state bench record in the 220 pound class so I had to drop a weight class.

I did a fad diet and lost the weight but I lost a lot of muscle because I did what a lot of people do: try to loss weight the fast way but it was the wrong way.  At the state finals I got set up to set the state record 415 pounds, I unraked the weight lowered to my chest nice and slow and it did not move. Everyone, including myself was shocked.  I had done it 6 days before the meet 4 times with perfect form.

A personal friend that was a trainer was there came to me and said Jeremy I have seen you every meet out lifting your competition by 600 pounds what happened? I told him about my diet.  Turns out that was the issue.  I dieted so hard so fast, I lost 13 pounds of muscle.

From that day forward my journey to become a better athlete and a trainer started. I got my diet on point came back and took state the next year set the record. I went to University of Central Oklahoma and got my certs to help others exercise correctly like my friend Greg did for me. "Success is not a destination it is a journey."
