I have always been extremely passionate about fitness. I have been in sports since I was three, when I did competitive gymnastics at National Gymnastics Training Center for over seven years. I then played both club and high school volleyball for eight years. I also learned several forms of dance. In college I competed on the UCLA club gymnastics team and went to Nationals in Ohio. I then walked onto the UCLA NCAA crew team my junior year. I then began running and trained for my first half marathon.
In my free time I enjoy paddle-boarding, rock climbing, Bikram yoga, running, lifting, hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, trapeze, archery, going to amusement parks, going to the movies, shopping and traveling. I especially love learning new skills and exploring different countries and cultures.
As far as my personal training style goes, I like to use a variety of techniques including functional training, resistance training, high intensity intervals, circuits, tabatas, plyometrics, power lifting, kettle bells, free weights, and agility and balance work. I know that improving flexibility, adequate recovery and good nutrition are fundamental aspects of success. I constantly encourage my clients to strive to be their best. I am confident I can help anyone, who is hard-working, willing, and open to learn, achieve their health and fitness goals and grow immensely both mentally and physically.
