I believe that fitness can and should be more than forcing yourself into gym shorts 3-5 times a week. Fitness is best translated to wellness when we pursue avenues we enjoy--whether it is walking your dog, hiking, or competing in ultra-marathons--any and all activities count towards overall health. I became a trainer to encourage and educate people on how to take control of their lives, making their well-being a priority. Remember, there is a difference between watching your grandkids play, and playing with your grandkids. And that starts with how you take care of your body today. With a background in Exercise Science, I am interested in the preventative and restorative effects of exercise on the body. I am motivated to help people set and achieve realistic goals in a fun and informative environment.
