I became a trainer to be able to take my excitement for fitness and project that onto others through helping them achieve the results they are looking for. I am most excited when I see my clients finally accomplish their goals and I know that I helped them to do this. I decided to become a trainer back in college when I lived in Iowa and chose to go to Iowa State University to study Kinesiology and Health. I have run and completed 5 marathons and trained many beginners as well as intermediate athletes looking to decrease their marathon times. I also have experience as a shoe specialist with running shoes and gait analysis in order to maximize form and posture. Not only do I specialize in endurance training, I have been teaching boot camp style group fitness and strength training classes for 6 years. I like to incorporate kettlebells, TRX, plyometrics and body building into my workout routines. Whether your goal is fat loss, weight gain, endurance performance, or overall fitness I will get you there.
