I used to hate working out and eating healthy so much that I found myself 40 pounds overweight and extremely unhappy. I knew I needed to make a change and started working out with someone that pushed me and encouraged me to eat clean and become more active. Today, I can proudly say I have changed my life around. I wanted to give back to others and help so I became an EMT-Basic. I found out quickly that instead of being the one to help when health became a serious issue, I wanted to attack the problem while people still had a chance to change their life around too. I want to be the support for people ready for this transition, because I know better than anyone, it is not easy on your own. If I can do it anyone can. I never thought I could run a mile, and now I recently won 3rd place for females in The Biggest Loser 5k. I love being able to be active and do things I never dreamed of, and my mission is to inspire others to make the change too!
