Sports and fitness activities always helped me cope with lifes stresses, especially when I was trying to complete my undergraduate degree. I used exercise as a way to make me mentally, emotionally, and physically stronger. I developed a passion for resistance training and weight-bearing exercises when I faced a serious knee injury as a long-distance runner. Learning how to stabilize and strengthen my leg muscles helped restore my knee. I love the fact that if you know how to properly train and challenge your body you can reach any limit and exceed them, including recovery from injuries and surgeries. I am also extremely passionate about nutrition science and understanding food as medicine for the body to support weight-loss goals. I like to also emphasize and teach how food can prevent or reverse chronic diseases. Becoming a personal trainer is definitely one of the best decisions I've made professionally and hope to continue to share my knowledge and passion for fitness and health.
