My ultimate goal is to be a great Physical Therapist which takes time, education, and experience. As a personal trainer I want to implement what I have learned at California State Long Beach in the exercise science department into workout programs that would best benefit each individual I have the opportunity of training. By implementing what I have learned this will help may gain more experience toward my physical therapy goal. While working as a physical therapy aide in the Bay area and now Santa Monica I noticed that a lot of injuries could be prevented through early choices of a healthy life style which includes exercise. There is also a need for those who went through physical therapy to continue to strengthen the muscles that were once taken for granted and that is why I feel personal training is important. By continuing training under a watchful eye a person can be safe in the gym while still reach goals that will change their lives. Although my ultimate goal is to be a physical therapist I still enjoy the look and feel of being fit and helping people "join the club" so to speak. Exercise has been apart of my life since I was young, playing soccer, tennis, swimming, and volleyball. All these sports require that I exercise outside of practice in order to improve my serves, scoring goals, and faster swim time. I hope to encourage and enlighten more people to live a healthy and happy life.
