I was overweight through high school, weighing 184 pounds at my heaviest. Through the help of working with Personal Trainers I lost over 30 pounds. I gained confidence through this process and learned that I could achieve goals I set for myself through hard work, consistency and perseverance. I found that this lesson has translated to all other aspects of my life and has enabled me to not only reach the physical goals I set, but my personal and professional goals as well. I became a Personal Trainer because I recognized the positive impact it had in my life and wanted to share that with others. Some of my family members are overweight due to differences they have made in their lifestyle choices. My goal is to empower and motivate others to make healthy lifestyle choices because I know how great I feel when I am active and healthy and want others to feel that way too.

Interests and Achievements

  • I have completed 6 full marathons and 15+ half marathons.
  • I stay active on weekends by hiking the Las Trampas and Mt. Diablo trails.
  • My favorite way to start the day is with a high intensity workout.
  • I love traveling to new places and meeting new people!
  • I played high school and club volleyball.
