Frequently Asked Questions

What's the status of my claim? When can I expect to hear?

  • On August 5th, 2022, the Company sent correspondence regarding distributions resulting from claims filed in the Company’s Chapter 11 restructuring to customers/claimants. Distribution information will be sent directly via mail to the address provided on the claim form.
  • To view your claim and the treatment it will receive, visit https://restructuring.primeclerk.com/24hourfitness to view a copy of the plan of reorganization.

Can I still file a claim?

  • No, we’re sorry but the deadline to file a claim has passed.

I received a gift card in the mail, is this the compensation for my claim?

  • Yes.  Gift card distributions are consistent with the bankruptcy court’s order approving the Company’s plan of reorganization.

How did you come up with this compensation?

  • The gift card distributions and corresponding value was the result of a multi-party resolution in the Company’s chapter 11 and such treatment was approved by the bankruptcy court.

I prepaid for my membership/personal training prior to the bankruptcy. Will I be reimbursed for any unused portion?

  • For time paid while clubs were closed in your area, Prepaid members were issued a prorated credit, and Limited Term memberships and Personal Training agreements were extended.   Once clubs reopened, members were able to use the credits issued, or prepaid time.
  • If you filed a claim, the gift card sent to your address provided on the claim is the distribution on account of your claim consistent with the bankruptcy court’s order.  No cash/credit refunds will be issued for these claims.

I prepaid for my membership/personal training prior to the bankruptcy. Since I'm not getting a refund, can you reinstate my agreement so I can use it?

  • No, we’re sorry but that is not possible. For time paid while clubs were closed in your area, Prepaid members were issued a prorated credit, and Limited Term memberships and Personal Training agreements were extended.   Once clubs reopened, members were able to use the credits issued, or prepaid time.
  • If you filed a claim, the gift card sent to your address provided on the claim is the distribution on account of your claim consistent with the bankruptcy court’s order.  If you would like to apply the gift card received towards a new membership, or new personal training sessions, your local club can assist you with that process.

My club was closed and there are no alternate clubs near me. Will I be reimbursed for my membership or unused personal training sessions?

  • The amount of your recovery and form of distribution depends on your claim.  Information about your claim was sent to the mailing address you provided.
